Bookkeeper and Payroll Clerk

This is a excellent opportunity for a Bookkeeper and Payroll Clerk to join a high quality and growing practice based in Wakefield.

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 DOE

Main Role Outlined

The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Undertaking Monthly / Quarterly bookkeeping
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations and debtor / creditor reports
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Processing of weekly / monthly / payrolls and submissions to HMRC
  • Preparation and submissions of CIS returns

Role Requirements

  • Experience in working with Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll
  • Able to establish good professional relationships with existing teams
  • Critical and analytical thinker
  • Be able to manage multiple accounts at the same time
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Proven communication skills both oral and written english
